WATERLOO — Margaret Frances Penne, 91, formerly of Waterloo, died Monday, Dec. 17, 2012, at Pleasant View Nursing Home, St. James, Minn.

She was born May 12, 1921, in Charles City, daughter of John Henry and Addie Gail Gants McNabb. She married Frank LeRoy Penn on Feb. 1, 1942, at Grace Methodist Church, Waterloo. He died Dec. 24, 2004.

Mrs. Penn attended school in Waterloo and was a full-time homemaker.

Survived by two sons, LeRoy (Tamie) of Spanaway, Wash., and Eric (Laurel) of St James; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Doris McNabb of Honolulu.

Preceded in death by a sister, Mary (Lyle) Wagoner; and a brother, the Rev. Robert (Doris) McNabb.

Memorial services: 2 p.m. Saturday at Sturm Funeral Home, St. James, preceded by an hour of visitation. Committal services will be 1 p.m. Dec. 29 at Garden of Memories, Waterloo.
