CEDAR FALLS - Hilda L. Bromley, 95, of the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home, died Monday, Aug. 14, 2000, at Sartori Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.

She was born March 8, 1905, in Sumner, daughter of Henry and Minnie Behrens Schwerin. She married Vern "Sandy" Bromley on Oct. 15, 1938. He died in December 1984.

Survived by a sister, Elsie Sullivan of Victor.

Preceded in death by three sisters: Alma Thode, Lucille Conrad and Hulda Schwerin; and five brothers: Ted, Henry, Raymond, Rhinehart and Herb Schwerin.

Memorial services: 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Cedar Falls Lutheran Home chapel, with inurnment in Garden of Memories. There will be no visitation, her body was cremated. Garden View Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
