WATERLOO - Maebelle Gillett, 89, of Winter Haven, Fla., formerly of Waterloo and Manchester, died Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2000, at Winter Haven Hospital of natural causes.

She was born Aug. 11, 1910, daughter of Richard and Verna Graham. She married Ronald Burright. They later divorced. She married Lockwood Gillett on Feb. 1, 1966, in Moline, Ill. He died Sept. 13, 1989.

Survived by a daughter, Sandy Burke of Winter Haven; a stepdaughter, Fonda Federspiel of Waterloo; a stepson, Merle Gillett of Denver; and four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Graveside memorial services: 1:30 p.m. Friday at Garden of Memories.
