James Robert Finn, 70, of Waterloo died Thurs. March 22, 2007, at Covenant Medical Center.

He was born Sept. 1, 1936 in Waterloo the son of James Lawrence and Nellie Elizabeth Craig Finn.

He married Sharon Mae Evans on Nov. 28, 1959 they later divorced. Mr. Finn was employed with John Deere for 32 years retiring in 1991. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean war.

Survived by two sons, Brian of Hudson and David (Edith) of Tempe, AZ; four daughters: Theresa E. Weber of Overland Park, KS, Jane E Finn of Waterloo, Suzanne (Dennis) Magers of Dunkerton, and Anita Finn of Waterloo; nine grandchildren: Chris Finn, Rebecca Finn, Poet Finn, Shannon Finn, Steven Finn, William Weber, Joseph Weber, Kevin Weber, and Douglas Magers; eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Kathy (Jack) Herter of Casper, WY; A brother Thomas Finn of LaCrosse, WI.

Preceded in death by his parents; four brothers: John, Lawrence, Terrance, and Michael.

Memorial Services: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South St. with inurnment in Mt. Olivet cemetery. Public visitation from noon until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
