Donald H. Faust, 81, of Waterloo, died Thursday, March 1, 2007, at Covenant Medical Center.

He was born January 1, 1926 in Waterloo, son of Harry and Mazie Hinds Faust. He married Rosemary Lori Hill in June of 1950 in Waterloo. She died in 2002.

Donald was a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Navy. He was employed with Douglas Aircraft and then with Bohemian Distributing as a driver until his retirement.

Survivors include a son David (Christine) Faust of Apple Valley. CA; a daughter Victoria Faust of Adelanto, CA; two grandchildren, Brandon Edward Faust and Katie Marie Faust; two sisters, Thelma Stevens and Harriet (Herbert) Ralston, all of Waterloo; many nieces and nephews; two sisters-in-law and three brother-in-laws.

Preceded in death by his wife a brother Marvin Faust and a son Daniel J. Faust. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Hagarty Waychoff Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway where Military rites will be conducted by American Legion Post 138 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1623. Public visitation will be from 4:00 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
