CEDAR FALLS — Donna M. Drum, 82, of Cedar Falls, died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012, at Windsor Nursing and Rehab Center.

She was born July 9, 1930, in Urbana, daughter of Walter and Opal Rouse Smith. She married Thomas E. Drum on July 27, 1952, in Urbana. He died Jan. 3, 1971.

Mrs. Drum attended Hawkeye and was employed as office manager and dental assistant for 25 years with Dr. D.L. Ball, retiring in 1990. She was past worthy matron of Cedar Falls OES #78 and was a member of First Christian Church, Cedar Falls.

Survived by a daughter, Tana (Scot) Kelly of Cedar Falls; three grandchildren, Elizabeth (Jason) Ebensberger, Thomas Kelly and Katherine Kelly, all of Cedar Falls; two great-grandchildren, Adaline and Jacqueline Ebensberger; her special companion, Harold Fruchtenicht of Cedar Falls; a brother, Wayne B. Smith of San Jose, Calif.; and a sister, Venoa Swartzbaugh of Vinton.

Preceded in death by a sister, Neta Hanson; and a brother, Merwin “Bud” Smith.

Services: 1 p.m. Wednesday at Richardson Funeral Service, preceded by an hour of visitation, with burial in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens.
