CEDAR FALLS — Ronald R. Woodall Sr., 87, of Cedar Falls, formerly of Waterloo, died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012, at Parkview Gardens Nursing and Rehab Center, Waterloo.

He was born Sept. 11, 1925, in Macks Creek, Mo., son of John R. and Avis Campbell Woodall. He married Darline D. Dean on April 18, 1953, at the Little Brown Church, Nashua.

Mr. Woodall served in the U.S. Marines Corps in both World War ll and the Korean conflict. He was a self-employed delivery service driver for 20 years, retiring in 1993.

Survived by his wife; two sons, David (Margot) of Zion, Ill., and Ronald Jr. (Heather) of San Antonio; two daughters, Judy (Steve) Matthias of Aztec, N.M., and Carol (Randy) Brummer of Storm Lake; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandson.

Preceded in death by two sisters, Icel Woodall and Erma Mae Bondurant; and a brother, Charles.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Hagerman Baptist Church, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery, both in Waterloo. Graveside military rites will be conducted by Becker-Chapman American Legion Post 138 and VFW Post 1623. Visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher, Waterloo, and an hour before services Saturday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the church.
