ELK RUN HEIGHTS - William LeRoy "Bill" Morrow, 67, of Elk Run Heights, died Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, at Ravenwood Nursing and Rehab Center, Waterloo.

He was born Nov. 26, 1944, in Waterloo, son of Wilbert and Beverly Kroenecke Morrow. He married Reginia "Genia" Kalvig on Nov. 15, 1969, at Nazareth Lutheran Church, Cedar Falls.

Mr. Morrow attended Denver High School. He worked as a police officer in Evansdale for 13 years and was the park superintendant in Evansdale for six years. He also was a volunteer fireman for 20 years. After moving to Florida, he owned his own floral business until retiring in 2003.

Survived by his wife; two daughters, Bridget (Patrick Strait) Morrow of Evansdale and Melissa Morrow of Elk Run Heights; a brother, Darrell of Denver; four sisters, Pamela (Al Nelsen) Morrow of Cedar Rapids. Julie (Bart Albrecht) Morrow of Waterloo, Shelda (Jeff) Brenner of North Liberty and Donna (Jerry) Sneed of Melburn, Ark.; and four unofficial foster sons, Lenny Baxter of Evansdale, Larry Locke of Independence, Marlon Rajo of Florida and Charlie Small of Elk Run Heights.

Services: 10 a.m. Wednesday at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Evansdale, preceded by an hour of visitation. Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, an Overton Family Service, Waterloo, is assisting the family.
