WATERLOO - Eldora M. Negley, 89, of Azusa, Calif., formerly of Waterloo, died Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehab-Foothill, Glendora, Calif., from complications of cancer.

She was born Aug. 3, 1923, in Bremer County, daughter of Frank J. Mixdorf and Alvina Fellbaum. She married Gerald W. Negley on Sept. 2, 1945. He died May 2, 1975.

Mrs. Negley worked many years for the U.S. Forest Service in the Glendora office.

Survived by two sons, Russell (Rosanne) of Cedar Falls and Richard (Sandy) of Azusa; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lucille of Royal Oak, Mich.

Preceded in death by seven brothers; and two sisters.

Services: will be held at a later date, with burial at Oakdale Cemetery, Glendora.

Memorials may be directed to the City of Hope in Duarte, Calif., or River Hills School in Cedar Falls.
