WATERLOO — Darlene E. Vogt, 88, of Waterloo, died Monday, Oct. 29, 2012, at Allen Hospital after a lengthy illness.

She was born May 11, 1924, in Waterloo, daughter of Herman and Amanda Plaster Frahm.

She was employed by Rath Packing Co. until it closed.

Survived by a daughter, Sherri (Larry) Willard of Evansdale; two sisters, Dorothy Petersen and Grace Massina, both of Waterloo; two grandchildren, Laura (Brian) McCraney of Sauk Rapids, Minn., and Matt (Amanda) Willard of Dubuque; and five great-grandchildren, Brandon, Joshua, Alyssa and Nickolas McCraney, and Olivia Willard.

Preceded in death by a brother, Alfred Frahm.

Services: 1 p.m. Thursday at Garden View Chapel Funeral Home, where visitation begins at 11 a.m., with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. The casket will be closed.

Memorials may be directed to the family.

Darlene was very dedicated to her daughter, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
