Esther E. Sadler, 92, of Waterloo died Saturday, December 15, 2007 at Covenant Medical Center of natural causes.

She was born March 7, 1915 in Black Hawk County, daughter of John and Mary Phillips Youngblut. She attended country school until her 8th grade.

She married Albert M. Sadler on January 29, 1936 in Raymond. He preceded her in death on December 3, 1990.

Survivors include three sons: LaVerne (Joyce Peters) of Readlyn, Wayne (Jan) of Waterloo, and Dennis (Judy) of Hudson; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by one daughter Marlys Sadler on February 16, 2006; one grandson, three brothers; one sister.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday December 18 at St. Edward Catholic Church with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Public visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Monday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway where there will be a 7 p.m. rosary. Visitation will continue for one hour before services at the church on Tuesday.
