PACKARD, SALISBURY, BARNES

DIED — Mrs. Zabetha C. Packard, widow of S. H. Packard; of Cedar Falls, died suddenly at Anaconda, Montana, last Saturday, where she went a short time ago to visit her daughter, Mrs. Helen M. Salisbury. Death was caused by a stroke of apoplexy.

Mrs. Packard was a daughter of L. H. Barnes, well known in this city. She was born in 1835, and came to Cedar Falls in 1856.

She leaves two children, Mrs. Salisbury of Anaconda, Montana, and Mr. Jeff Packard, editor of the Cedar Falls Globe.

The remains will be brought to Cedar Falls and the funeral will be held Friday at 2 p. m., from the Episcopal church.

Mrs. Packard was a highly respected woman and leaves hosts of friends to mourn her sudden demise.
