Wm. Ray

Wm. Ray died at 1:45 on Sunday at his home in Cedar City, and the funeral services, will be conducted by the Masonic Fraternity assisted by Dr. F. W. Luce, this afternoon at 2:30 o'ctock at the house in East Cedar.

Mr. William Ray was born in Crawford Co., Pennsylvania, September 29, 1823; and moved to Ohio in 1839.

September 29th, 1852 he married Amy M. Bishop, and came to Iowa in 1856.

Mrs. Ray died in February, 1881. He was married again to Mrs. Lucy A. Hearst, January 18th, 1894.

One daughter Mrs. C. W. Cameron survives, besides his wife.

He has buried two children, a son, Cyrus A. Ray, and a daughter, Mrs. G. W. Barnes.

Mrs. W. D. Pollock, Mrs. T. H. Heller, Miss Birdie Barnes, and Gilbert Barnes all of Waterloo, are grandchildren of the deceased.

Burial was in Fairview Cemetery, Cedar Falls.
