Inez E. Clark was born November 17, 1923 in Lake Mills, Iowa, the daughter of Thomas and Barbara (Huglin) Evans. She died Monday, December 17, 2001, at Valley Lutheran Hospital in Mesa, Arizona, at 78 years of age.

She married Dale J. Clark on April 24, 1942. Inez taught in the Osage, Iowa school district and later worked at Chamberlain Manufacturing during WW II. She worked for a number of years at Fred’s Super Value in Cedar Falls and retired from Eagle Food Stores in 1989.

She is survived by her husband Dale, of Cedar Falls; her children, Sally Lane of Cedar Falls, Judy Nelson of Hampton, Iowa, Karen Kuehn of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Dennis Clark of Waterloo, Iowa and Douglas Clark of Grundy Center, Iowa; eleven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and two brothers, Roy Evans of Coronado, California and Harold Evans of Mesa, Arizona.

Inez was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Marie Lubbert, Louise Lubbert and Dorothy (Ilo) Gliedt and three brothers, Frank, Ernie and Floyd Evans.

Funeral Mass was 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 21, 2001 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls.
