WATERLOO — Vincent Michael Rubino, 49, of Waterloo, died Wednesday, Oct. 10, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home of colon cancer.

He was born April 2, 1963, in Waterloo, son of John D. and Darlene F. Green Rubino.

He graduated from Waterloo Central High School in 1981, and from the Hawkeye Community College truck driving program. Mr. Rubino served in the U.S. Army and worked construction.

Survived by: his father; two brothers, Don of Waterloo and Nick (Patty) of La Porte City; a sister, Kim (Auke Schotanus) Rubino of Ferryville, Wis.; and his companion, Wendy Grinder.

Preceded in death by his mother.

Services: noon Tuesday at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, with inurnment in Woodlawn Cemetery, Oelwein. There will be no visitation.

Memorials may be directed to the family.
