Lyle Neubauer (1927-2012)

WATERLOO — Lyle Neubauer, 85, of Waterloo, died Monday, Sept. 17, at his daughter’s home in Michigan.

He was born April 4, 1927, in Alden, son of Lois Ann and Fred Neubauer. He married Jean Arp on Nov. 28, 1953, at Zion American Lutheran Church in Waterloo.

Mr. Neubauer worked at Rath Packing Co. and John Deere for 31 years, retiring in 1993.

Survived by his wife; a daughter, Denise of Davison, Mich.; a son, Dan of Waterloo; a grandson; two half brothers; and two half sisters.

Preceded in death by a son; and a daughter.

His body has been cremated and there are no services planned. Burial will be held at a later date.
