F. Albert Swanson

HUDSON—Services for F. Albert Swanson, 76, of 113 Pleasant Dr., will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Burton Avenue Baptist Church, Waterloo.

Mr. Swanson died at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in Provo, Utah, while visiting relatives. Friends may call at Kearns-Dykeman Chapel after 7 p m Friday.

He was born June 14, 1899, in Strassburg*, Neb., the son of Frank and Alice Martin Swanson.

He married Laura Armstrong Aug. 15, 1927, in Waterloo. He was employed as a machinist at John Deere Waterloo Tractor Works for 27 years, retiring in 1961.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Donald of Hudson, Gerald of Norfolk, Va., and Oscar of Provo, Utah; a daughter, Mrs. Marilyn Fight of Leavenworth, Kan.; a brother, Edward of Bera, Calif.; and two sisters, Mrs. Edith Olson of Cherokee, and Mrs. Alice Swanson of Fremont, Neb.
