Wilma K. Meisch, 95, of Gilbertville, died Sunday, July 8, 2007, at the Ceder Falls Lutheran Home of natural causes.

She was born July 11, 1911 in Waterloo, daughter of John and Rhoda Robertshaw Singer.

She married Andrew Meisch on October 6, 1932 at St. John Catholic Church Waterloo. He died June 30 1959. Wilma graduated from Waterloo East High School and was a secretery for Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and head of the hot lunch program at Don Bosco.

Survivors include two daughters: Katherine (Francis) Harrington of Cedar Falls and Virginia Loveless of Waterloo; six grandchildren: Laurie Hauser, Karla (Norman) Stahl, Dave (Mary) Hauser, Janet (Jeff) Kimball, Lisa (Scott) Bulow, and Brian (Jolynn) Loveless; two step-grandchildren, Jeff (Lori) Harrington and Enola Harrington; 12 great-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by a son Paul Meisch; an infant daughter Dorothy Meisch; one granddaughter Sherry Hauser; one great granddaughter Julie Kimball; two brothers, John and Walter Singer; five sisters: Adelaide Bundy, Rhoda Harned, Lucille Rosauer, Barbara Point, Mae Hansen, and Clara Singer.

Services will be 10:30 Thursday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with burial in St. Mary Cemetery both in Gilbertville. Public visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway where there will be a 7:00 p.m. Rosary. Visitation will continue for one hour before services at the church on Thursday.
