CEDAR FALLS - Gregory Paul Pavelka, 49, of Waverly, formerly of Cedar Falls, died Sunday, July 22, 2007, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home Waterloo of cancer.

He was born Nov. 4, 1957 in Waterloo, son of Paul Francis and Beatrice Catherine Schleissner Pavelka.

He married Tracy J. Hackbarth on June 30, 2000 in Waterloo. Mr. Pavelka graduated from Cedar Falls High School and attended three years of college. He was employed as a service advisor for Community Auto from 1998 until the present.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Nicholas Paul Naumann of Minnesota and Nathan Lee Pavelka at home; a daughter, Nichole Renee Pavelka at home; his mother of Cedar Falls; and a sister Leanne (Craig) Neessen of Cedar Falls.

Preceded in death by his father and grandparents.

Celebration of Life service: 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway Waterloo
