WATERLOO - Lillian M. Kirschbaum, 80, of Waterloo, died Saturday, July 21, 2007 at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home.

She was born December 22, 1926 in Chickasaw County, the daughter of Joseph C. and Anna Holub Sindelar.

She married John A. Kirschbaum on September 25, 1947 in Waterloo. Mrs. Kirschbaum graduated from Lawler High School. She worked as a box maker at Rath Packing Co. from 1946 to 1954 then became a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband; a son Steve (Teri) of Cedar Falls; two grandchildren, Jennifer Kirschbaum of Cedar Falls and Benjamin J. (Becky) Kirschbaum of Nevada, Iowa; four great-grandchildren: Amanda Clark, Lexi Clark, Sage Hackbarth, and Kirsten Kirschbaum; a brother, Joseph (Debbie) Sindelar of Cedar Rapids; a sister Dorothy Wilson of Janesville.

Preceded in death by a brother, Rayfield Sindelar in infancy; a sister, Lucille Humpal.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with entombment in Mt. Olivet Mausoleum. Public visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Tuesday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street where there will be a 4 p.m. rosary and a 7 p.m. vigil. Visitation will continue for one hour before services at the church on Wednesday.

Memorials: directed to Cedar Valley Hospice or the church.
