David A. Barth, 68, of Denver, Colorado, formerly of Waterloo, Iowa died May 22, 2012, at Rose Medical Center in Denver.

He was born September 4, 1943 in Cedar Falls, Iowa, the son of Ralph D. and Ethel M. (Grapp) Barth. He married Pamela Lawler on November 25, 1964 in Waterloo. She preceded him in death on September 8, 1993.

David was employed as a security guard with Stanley Smith Securities and later with Subway, both in Denver, prior to retiring.

He is survived by his mother, Ethel Barth of Cedar Falls; a daughter, Stephanie Barth Cedar Falls; two brothers, Gene Barth of Denver, CO and Dale Barth of Littleton, CO; two nephews, Eugene and Gary Barth, both of Chicago; and a niece, Diane Barth of Covington, Louisiana.

David was preceded in death by his father, Ralph and his wife, Pamela.
