WATERLOO — Alan R. Faulkner, 29, of Waterloo, died at home Sunday, July 1, 2012.

He was born July 22, 1982, in Waterloo, son of Lloyd and Julie Gray Faulkner.

Mr. Faulkner attended Waterloo Community Schools and Hawkeye Community College.

Survived by a son, Tanner of Waterloo; his parents of Waterloo; a brother, Andrew (Kriston) of Waterloo; a sister, Amy (Ken) Horner of Waterloo; and a nephew and niece, Andrew Faulkner and Kristina Kajtezovic, both of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Raymond and Opal Faulkner; and maternal grandparents, Donald and Lillian Gray.

Services: 10 a.m. Friday at Christ Lutheran Church, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, an Overton Family Service, and for an hour before services Friday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to his mother.

Alan very much loved spending time with his son, Tanner. He enjoyed basketball and was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan.
