EVANSDALE, IOWA — Ray Allen Smith, 52, of Evansdale, died at his home Saturday, June 30.

He was born May 27, 1960, in Waterloo, son of Raymond and Margaret Klassen Smith. He attended Bunger Middle School and worked as a cook at Yen Ching until their closing.

Survived by a brother, Terry of Charles City; and two sisters, Bonnie (Terry) Janssen of Waterloo and Betty Reuter of Evansdale.

Preceded in death by his parents.

There will be no service. Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, an Overton Family Service, Waterloo, assisted the family.
