WATERLOO, IOWA - Harold C. Andrews, 76, of Waterloo, died Wednesday, June 6, 2012, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home.

He was born August 26, 1935, in Waterloo, the son of Ralph and Florence Wilks Andrews.

He graduated from Waterloo East High School in 1953. He married Audrey Warren on August 27, 1955, in Waterloo.

Harold was employed by Warren Transport, retiring in 2000. He also was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church. Harold was on the board of Goodwill Industries, the National Bank of Waterloo and Met Transit. He was past president of Sunnyside Country Club and Waterloo Transportation. He also was on the board of directors of Warren Transport.

He is survived by his wife; three sons, Charles (Maureen), Jeff (Sherri) and Michael (Angie), and two daughters, Lori (Mark) Fisher and Sara (Jerry) Jones, all of Waterloo; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; and a sister, Helen Cobert of Northridge, California.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Jean Cool; an infant brother, James Ralph Andrews; and two grandsons, Jeffrey Tabor and Jason Hendershot.

Services will be Monday, June 11, at 10:30 a.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church, with burial in Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday and an hour before services Monday at the church.

In lieu of flowers those who wish may direct memorials to Trinity Episcopal Parish, North East Iowa Food Bank or the Salvation Army.
