WATERLOO, IOWA - Ruth M. Wilson, 90, of Waterloo, died Wednesday, June 6, 2012, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home.

She was born April 26, 1922, in Athens, Alabama, the daughter of Mark T. and Anna M. Roberson Dailey. She married Leslie L. Boyer Sr., and they later divorced. She married Alexander Wilson on August 5, 1961, in Evansdale. He died Jan. 21, 1988.

Mrs. Wilson worked as a nurse's aide at Allen Hospital for 10 years, Black Hawk Health Center for 10 years and Edith's Rest Home.

She is survived by two sons, Mark L. (Bev) Boyer of Sioux Falls, S.D., and Leslie L. Boyer Jr. of Waterloo; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; a brother, John Lindner of Sioux Falls; and a sister, Marie Rilley of Manhattan, Kansas.

She was preceded in death by a son, Ivan Boyer; a daughter, Geraldine Vaughn; and a sister, Cecilia Lindner.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Garden View Chapel Funeral Home, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. today and an hour before services Saturday at the funeral home.
