Rosemary Reuter, 80, died December 1, 2007 at Covenant Medical Center. She was born June 21, 1927 in Ionia, daughter of Alexander and Ann Jacobs Diederich. She married Floyd Reuter on Feb. 3, 1945, in Louisville, KY. He died Feb. 11, 1998.

Rosemary was a homemaker.

She is survived by three sons: Rick (Margaret) Reuter of Evansdale, Roger (Angie) Reuter of Waterloo and Randy (Marlene) Reuter of Kansas City, MO; two daughters, Kathy (Manfred) Ennen of Raymond and Carolyn (Larry) Levendusky of Evansdale; 9 grandchildren; Kenney Reuter, Tamie Reuter, Jenny Ennen, Lisa Gogel, Jason Reuter, Ashley Reuter, Dane Reuter, Stephanic Nicol, Raine Allen. 4 great-grandchildren; Justin Reuter, Lainee Reuter, Kelsey Reuter, Leighna Reuter; a brother, Alexander (Iona) Diederich of Waterloo; two sisters, Ruth Weiglen of Ionia and Betty Basche of Ottumwa.

Preceded by her loving husband; Two brothers-Peter Diederich and Paul Diederich and a sister Ellen Huegel.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Edward’s Catholic Church, with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Monday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street, where there will be a 4 p.m. rosary. Visitation also for an hour before services at the church on Tuesday

Memorials may be made to the family.
