Louanne "LuLu" H. Marty, 81, of Cedar Falls, died Wednesday, August 8, at the Martin Center of the Western Home Communities.

She was born January 21, 1931 in Waterloo, daughter of Roger and Marjorie Gross Haselman. She married Wayne Marty in 1954 in Waterloo.

Survivors include a son, John (Lynne) Marty of Dallas, Texas; a daughter, Sue (Mike) Fereday of Waterloo; five grandchildren: Michael and Austin Marty, Kevin (Jenny) Fereday, Kate (Johnny) Pinelli and Tim Fereday; and two sisters, Bobbie (Dave) Gray of Fort Myers, Florida and Becky (Ed) Baldwin of Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Preceded in death by her parents, Roger and Marjorie; husband, Wayne; and sister, Sue Holman.

A memorial service will be held at a later date with inurnment in Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery.

Memorials can be made to Cedar Valley Hospice or The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
