WATERLOO — Harold Eugene See, 85, of Waterloo, died Thursday, Aug. 2, 2012 at Cedar Valley Hospice Home.

He was born Nov. 29, 1926, in Brandon, son of Ralph and Ruth Winsor See. He married Shirley Coffman, and they later divorced. He married Rose M. Abbott, and she preceded him in death.

Mr. See graduated from Waterloo West High School in 1945 and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a small-business owner, operating restaurants and a moving business.

Survived by a daughter, Patti (Mike) Nelson of Albert Lea, Minn.; three sons, Scott and Brad, both of Guthrie Center, and Joel (Debbie) of Waterloo; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by a son, Steven.

Private graveside services were held in Garden of Memories. Richardson Funeral Service, Cedar Falls, was in charge of arrangements.
