CEDAR FALLS — Oleta Norris Wilson, 88, of Cedar Falls, formerly of New Mexico, died Sunday, Aug. 5, 2012 at Cedar Valley Hospice Home, Waterloo

She was born Oct. 31, 1923, in Slaton, Texas, daughter of Jessie H. and Hazel Williams Norris. She married Ray “Pete” Wilson on Feb. 7, 1942, in Durant, Okla.

Mrs. Wilson worked as a substitute teacher, sales clerk and in assembly at GTE, retiring in 1988.

Survived by her husband; a daughter, Janette (Wayne) Kohls of Cedar Falls; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a brother, Bill Norris of Garland, Texas.

Preceded in death by a sister, Velma Lee Henderson.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Richardson Funeral Service, Cedar Falls, preceded by an hour of visitation, with burial in Cedarlawn Memorial Park, Sherman, Texas.
