CEDAR FALLS — Arnold L. Pichelmann, 81, of Cedar Falls, died Friday, May 18, 2012 at NewAldaya Lifescapes.

He was born Feb. 2, 1931, in Waterloo, son of August and Elsie Stromer Pichelmann. He married Gladys Dykes June 24, 1950, in Waterloo.

Mr. Pichelmann was employed with Waterloo Industries for 45 years, retiring in 1992.

Survived by his wife; a son, William (Deb) of Waterloo; a daughter, Lynne Pichelmann of Bandera, Texas; three grandchildren, Tracy (Ray) Rich, and Amber and Arin Pichelmann; a great-grandchild, Courtney Rich; and a sister, Betty McCombs of Cedar Falls.

Preceded in death by two brothers, Howard and Richard; and a sister, Fern Lewis.

Services: 2:30 p.m. Monday at Richardson Funeral Service, with inurnment in Hillside Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls. Public visitation from 1 p.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home.

Memorials: in lieu of flowers, may be directed to Concordia Lutheran Church.
