WATERLOO, IOWA - Felicia Louiese Carey, 26, of Waterloo, died Monday, June 18, 2012, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City.

She was born July 25, 1985, in Waterloo, daughter of Frederick and Myrtle Thomas Carey. She graduated from Waterloo East High School in 2002 and worked in the lab at Allen Hospital as a phlebotomist.

Felicia enjoyed life, her family and preaching about the Bible.

She is survived by her father and mother, both of Waterloo; a brother, DeMarious (Jackie) Carey of Des Moines; two sisters, Kiera Carey of Des Moines and Kamesha Thomas-Carey of Waterloo; paternal grandparents, Johnnie and Georgia Carey of Waterloo; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Henderson and Louiese Thomas Sr.

A Memorial service will be held on Saturday at Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall, 55 Newell St., where visitation begins at 10:30 a.m.
