CEDAR FALLS, IOWA — Delores Irene Watkins, 81, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and formerly of the Waterloo/Cedar Falls area, died Wednesday, April 18, 2012

She was born December 27, 1930, in Cedar Falls, daughter of Marion L. and Helen DuBois Miller. She married Roland L. Watkins.

Mrs. Watkins was a speech pathologist and an early education consultant for Albuquerque Public Schools. She also was president of the Keystone Park Homeowners Association.

Survived by her husband; a son, Paul of Albuquerque; and a sister, Karen (Alan) Orr of Cedar Falls.

Burial will be in Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery. French Funerals and Cremations, Albuquerque, is in charge of arrangements.
