WATERLOO, IOWA - Eddie Earl Young, 58, of Waterloo, died Friday, June 22, at Sartori Memorial Hospital, Cedar Falls, of natural causes.

He was born July 2, 1953, in Lexington, Miss., son of Charles Young Sr. and Flossie Miller. He married Karen Timmer in 1989 in Waterloo; they later divorced. Mr. Young retired from John Deere.

He is survived by two sons, Cory Young and Colby Timmer, both of Waterloo; three sisters, Robel (Robert) Wright, Elnora (James) Tucker and Louella (Frankie) Brown, all of Waterloo; three brothers, Charles, Richard (Lillie) and Lee, all of Waterloo; and a grandchild;

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Cleotha Lacy.

Services will be Thursday at St. Mark Baptist Church, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the church and also for an hour before services Thursday at the church. Sanders Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be directed to the family at 909 Glenwood St., where they will receive friends.
