WATERLOO — Darlene Agnes Walton, 80, of Waterloo, died Friday, April 13, 2012 at Allen Hospital of COPD, emphysema and leukemia.

She was born Nov. 10, 1931, in Toledo, daughter of Frank Vencil and Esther Adean Klenk Kucera. She married Dennis Walton in October 1980 in Waterloo.

Mrs. Walton attended Tama County Schools. She was employed as a maintenance supervisor of an apartment complex for the majority of her working career.

Survived by: her husband; a son, Charles (Betty) Kutin; two daughters, Phyllis and Joyce (Rick) Kutin; four grandchildren, Lanora (Yossi), Tim, Mellisa (Jeremy) and David (Melanie); and two sisters, Marie Hess and Barbara (Lyle) Long.

Preceded in death by: a brother, Robert Kucera.

No services are being planned. Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, an Overton Family Service, Waterloo, is assisting the family.

Memorials: may be directed to Iowa Donor Network or to the family.

Darlene was a doll maker and enjoyed baking, fishing, sewing and gardening.
