WATERLOO — Josie R. Larson, 28, of Waterloo, died Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, of natural causes.

She was born Feb. 29, 1984, in Seoul, Korea, and was adopted by Christopher and Carolyn Wester Larson.

Ms. Larson had worked at My Verona and Old Chicago.

Survived by her mother of Waterloo; her foster parents, Joe and Beth Widmann of Cedar Falls; three brothers, Ian and Travis Larson, both of Waterloo, and Nathan Larson of Davenport; a sister, Marie Larson of Colorado Springs, Colo.; five foster brothers; a foster sister; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles; aunt and uncle, Ian and Julie; and cousins, William and Gail Widmann.

Preceded in death by her father; and grandparents.

Memorial gathering: 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at The Cellar, 320 E. Fourth St., Waterloo. Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel assisted the family.

Memorials may be directed to the Northeast Iowa Food Bank, in lieu of flowers.

Alma’s greatest accomplishment was being a homemaker.
