Donald H. Buhmann

Don was born December 21, 1921, in Waterloo, Iowa, the son of Henry A. and Rose (Ehlers) Buhmann. He died Thursday, May 26, 2005, at Bickford Cottages in Marion, Iowa.

He graduated from Waterloo West High School in 1939 and went on to serve his Country in the United States Navy during World War II. On January 21, 1942, he was united in marriage to Leola Zearley in Lancaster, MO. He was employed as an estimator at H & H Tool & Die, retiring in 1982.

Don is survived by his wife, Leola of Marion, Iowa; sons, Donald D. (Karen) of Marion, Iowa and Paul F. (Karen) of Stafford, TX; grandsons, Donald J. (Amber) Buhmann and Peter H. (KayJa) Buhmann; and great-granddaughters, Chelsea and Brooke Buhmann.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Dr. Harold Buhmann.
