Tim was born October 13, 1957, in Cedar Falls, Iowa, the son of Donald C. and Faye E. (Breneman) Rohwedder. He died Sunday, July 24, 2005, at Windsor Nursing and Rehab Center in Cedar Falls from complications of diabetes which he had been battling since age 7.

He graduated from Cedar Falls High School in 1976 and received his Bachelor of Science degree from Upper Iowa University. On October 4, 1980, he was united in marriage to Kim A. Luchtenburg in Cedar Falls. They were later divorced.

He operated Rohwedder Construction in Wes Des Moines for many years prior to his illness. Tim had been active in Boy Scouts, obtaining Eagle Scout, enjoyed canoeing and fishing in the Boundary Waters, golfing, and his family and friends.

Tim is survived by his daughters, Melissa Rohwedder of Des Moines and Rebecca Rohwedder of Waukee; his parents, Don and Faye Rohwedder of Janesville; and brothers, Bill (Stacy) Rohwedder of Cedar Falls and John (Sara) Rohwedder of Hoover, Alabama.

He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
