WATERLOO — Anita M. Frost, 85, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at Friendship Village Medical Center.

She was born Dec. 31, 1926, in Waterloo, daughter of John and Leona Delagardelle Welbes. She married Raphael J. “Ray” Frost on Nov. 15, 1948, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Waterloo. He died April 16, 2010.

Mrs. Frost graduated from Our Lady of Victory Academy. She was employed as an insurance secretary for Waterloo Surgical & Medical Group.

Survived by two sons, Steven J. (Bev) of Waterloo and Michael J. (Deb) of Eldridge; two daughters, Christine R. (Walt) Summerhays of Waterloo and Julie K. Wilson (Gene Yagla) of Waterloo; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; a brother, John “Jack” (Patricia) Welbes of Waterloo; and a sister, Marcella (Joe) Doyle of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by a sister, Sister Jonanne Welbes B.V.M.; and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Don and Arlene Welbes and Alvin and Stacy Welbes.

Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street, where there will be a 4 p.m. rosary and a 7 p.m. vigil. Visitation also an hour before services Tuesday at the church.

Memorials may be made to the church.
