HUDSON — Kelly D. Skornia, 33, of Hudson, died Tuesday, April 3, 2012, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City.

She was born March 23, 1979, in Marshalltown, daughter of Scott and Debra Hochhalter Briddle.

Ms. Skornia graduated from Hudson High School in 1998.

Survived by a daughter, Abigail Bailey of Hudson; a son, Noah Bailey of Hudson; her parents of Hudson; a brother, Kyle (Missy) Skornia of Cedar Rapids; a sister, Kati (Daniel) Van Heiden of Reinbeck; six nieces and nephews, Dylan, Lacey, Ashley, Gabe, Hunter and Karson; and maternal grandparents, Wayne and DeMaris Hochhalter of Mesa, Ariz.

Preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Paul and Carol Briddle.

Services: 11 a.m. Friday at Hudson United Methodist Church, with burial in Hudson Cemetery. Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel, Waterloo, and for an hour before services Friday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the family to benefit her children.
