WATERLOO — Jean L. Burgstrum, 83, of Bettendorf, formerly of Waterloo, died Monday, April 2, at Genesis East, Davenport.

She was born in 1928 in Inman, Neb., daughter of Karl and Hazel Keyes. She married Robert Burgstrum on Aug. 24, 1947, in Omaha, Neb.

Mrs. Burgstrum was a member of Trinity Episcopal Cathedral.

Survived by her husband; three daughters, Connie Hoeppner and Karen (David) Colgan, both of Bettendorf, and Kristi Zilly of Davenport; a son, Jon of Blue Grass; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by a sister, Arvilla M. Vidlak; and a brother, Donald L. Keyes.

Services: 11 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, Davenport, with private inurnment in Oakdale Memorial Gardens, Davenport, at a later date. Visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Weerts Funeral Home, Davenport.
