HUDSON — Scott Briddle, 54, of Hudson, died Saturday, May 26, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home, Waterloo.

He was born March 23, 1958, in Waterloo, son of Paul G. and Carol Ann Hanson Briddle. He married Debra Kay Hochhalter on Oct. 5, 1990, in Hudson.

Mr. Briddle was an oven operator at Wonder-Hostess Bakery.

Survived by his wife; a son, Kyle (Missy) Skornia of Cedar Rapids; a daughter, Kati (Daniel) Van Heiden of Reinbeck; three brothers, David (Sheyla) of Des Moines, Daniel (Becky) of Goodyear, Ariz., and James of West Des Moines; a sister, Gail (Kenny) Bunz of Hudson; and eight grandchildren.

Preceded in death by a daughter, Kelly Skornia.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at United Methodist Church, Hudson, with burial at a later date in Hudson Cemetery following cremation. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Kearns Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball, Waterloo, and an hour before services Wednesday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the family.
