CEDAR FALLS, IOWA - Jimmy L. Yearling, 77, of Cedar Falls, died Monday, April 2, at Allen Hospital, Waterloo.

He was born July 2, 1934, in New Hampton, son of Lowell and Clara Roethler Yearling. He married Laurene Skattum on June 30, 1956, in Waterloo.

Mr. Yearling was employed at John Deere Waterloo Tractor Works for many years.

Survived by his wife; a son, Scott; a daughter, Cindy (Bob) Stevenson; four grandchildren, Christine and Liz Bradfield and Hannah and Cole Yearling; four step-grandchildren, Kate (Nate) Winston and Megan, Haley and Kelly Stevenson; his mother; and a sister, Lois Walker.

Preceded in death by his father; and a daughter, Stacey Yearling.

Services: 11 a.m. Thursday at Cedar Heights Community Presbyterian Church. Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be directed to the church, in lieu of flowers.
