WATERLOO, IOWA - Glen F. Sullivan, 80, of Waterloo, died Sunday, April 1, at Ravenwood Nursing & Rehab Center of natural causes.

He was born Dec. 10, 1931, in Stacyville, son of William and Ethel Swanson Sullivan. He married Mary Lou Klunder on Feb. 24, 1952, in Clarksville.

Mr. Sullivan was employed by Titus Manufacturing for 17 years, then worked at Viking Pump Co. for 20 years, retiring in 1996.

Survived by his wife; two sons, Ron (Carol) of Waterloo and Jeff (Andrea) of Leawood, Kan.; three daughters, Pam Sullivan and Michelle (Mike) Braughton, both of Marion, and Glenda (John) Greenwell of Ackley; nine grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; a brother, Robert (Fran) of Decorah; and two sisters, Hazel Gritzner of Waverly and Connie Voeltz of Marion.

Preceded in death by two brothers, Donald and Dorrance.

Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, at Westminster Presbyterian Church, with private family inurnment. Visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball, and for an hour before services Thursday at the church. His body was cremated.

Memorials may be directed to the family or Care Initiatives Hospice.

Glen enjoyed camping and sports, especially the Cubs and Hawkeyes, and loved watching his grandchildren play various sports.
