WATERLOO - Beverly Jean MacMahon, 73, of Waterloo, died Monday, March 12, at Allen Hospital after a lengthy illness.

She was born Jan. 22, 1939, in Waterloo, daughter of Faye and Hazel Jones Renslow. She married Donald MacMahon in Waterloo on Feb. 14, 1959.

Survived by her husband; three daughters, Dawn Thornburg of Carter Lake, and Lori (Scott) Walston and Kelly (Todd) Kerr, both of Waterloo; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Jim Renslow of Jacksonville, Fla.; and four sisters, Annie (Pat) Wesson of Schreveport, La., Sharon Staley of Cedar Falls, and Sue (Howard) Durnin and Cassie (Dick) Jackson, both of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by two brothers, Bob and Don Renslow; a brother-in-law, Tom Staley; and a son-in-law, Jack Thornburg.

Private family services: will be held at a later date. Reiff Funeral Home, Independence, assisted the family.
