WATERLOO — Junior Lee Doland, 79, of Waterloo, died Friday, March 9, at his home after a long illness.

He was born Jan. 29, 1933, in Fayette, son of Orville and Mabel Pearl Everett Doland. He married Irene Jacobs Sept. 6, 1965, in Clear Lake.

He owned and operated L & I Towing. He also was a truck driver.

Survived by his wife; five sons, Rick (Dawn) Doland-Ackerson of Elk Run Heights, Timmy Doland, Russell (Tonia) Doland and Steven (Nicole) Doland, all of Waterloo, and Lennie (Stacie) Doland of Evansdale; a daughter, Jodi (Randy) Azbill of Waterloo; 20 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Merlin Doland and Kenny (Suzanne) Doland, all of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Kylee Fowler; and four brothers, Everett, Ronald, Chuck and Eldon.

Services: 11 a.m. Monday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Public visitation will be held for an hour before services Monday at the funeral home.
