Marie F. Wildeboer, 92, of Cedar Falls, died Saturday, September 13, 2008, at the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home. She was born on a farm west of Alden, Iowa on July 20, 1916, the daughter of John and Mable (Collins) Terveer.

Marie was baptized in 1929 by the Rev. W. J. Suckow. She graduated from Alden High School in 1933 and then attended Ellsworth Jr. College in Iowa Falls. Later she attended Gates Business College, in Waterloo.

She married August Wildeboer on October 2, 1937 in the Monroe Reform Church in Aplington, Iowa. She and August celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on October 2, 1987. Marie was member of St. John American Lutheran Church in Cedar Falls.

She is survived by two sons, Gerrold (Linda) Wildeboer of Cedar Falls and Donald (Dona) Wildeboer of Waterloo; six grandchildren, Desi (Denny) McLaughlin of Buckingham, Iowa, Denise (Tom) Lounsberry of Glen Rose, Texas, Dennis (Joan) Wildeboer, Cheryl Raus, David Truax and Mallory Truax all of Cedar Fall, and nine great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother Donald John and three sisters, Ruth Burns, Mae Oskvig and Dorothy Jensen.

Services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 16, 2008 at the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home Chapel, with burial at Oak Hill Cemetery in Parkersburg. Visitation will be one hour before services, Tuesday, at the Lutheran Home Chapel. Memorials may be directed to the Humane Society or the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home Chapel.
