WATERLOO - Harry Watts, 87, of Waterloo, died Sunday, Feb. 19, at Allen Hospital, of natural causes.

He was born Sept. 11, 1924, in Sumner, son of Harry and Viola Watts. He married Alice Strottman and Berdine Buhr, who both preceded him in death.

Mr. Watts served with the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survived by five daughters, Elizabeth (David) Bowman, Jennifer Watts, Pam (Kirby) Kretchmer, Kim (Jerry) Kapela and Kay (Ron) Shafer; three grandchildren, Judd (Cassie) Bowman, and Ali and Kiley Shafer; a stepson, Gary (Barb) Buhr; a stepdaughter, Cynthia Snider; and five stepgrandchildren, Gina Wiersma, Shane Buhr, Chad Buhr, Todd Snider, and Tonya Phillips.

Private family Services were held. Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, an Overton Family Service, assisted the family.

Memorials may be directed to the Western Home Foundation, Cedar Falls, or to the organization of choice
