WATERLOO - Donita Y. Doud, 77, of Waterloo, died Thursday, Feb. 16, at Sunrise Hill Care Center, Traer.

She was born Jan. 4,1935, in Hooker, Okla., daughter of Herman and Mattie Jones Hitchcock. She married James Munkres on Aug. 20, 1952, and they later divorced. She married Jimmie Doud on June 11, 1983.

Survived by her husband of Traer; a daughter, Debra (James) Ehlers of Park City, Kan.; a grandson; a stepson, Kevin (Wendy) Doud; two stepdaughters, Kris (John) Holst and Kerry (Mike) Less; eight stepgrandchildren; nine stepgreat-grandchildren; two brothers, Franklin and Cecil Hitchcock; and two sisters Carolyn Sue (Dave) Falke of Liberal, Kan., and Sharon Lou (Henry) Mussman of Hooker.

Preceded in death by a son, Larry Munkres; eight brothers; and two sisters.

Services: 2:30 p.m. Monday at Concordia Lutheran Church, Waterloo. Visitation from 3 to 5 p.m. today at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, Cedar Falls, and for an hour before services Monday at the church.
