CEDAR FALLS - Vivian L. Rockey, 83, of Cedar Falls, formerly of West Chester, Pa., died Monday, Jan. 23, at the Western Home Elizabeth Martin Center.

She was born May 27, 1928, in Lynn, Mass., daughter of Wesley and Violet Ward Lynds. She married John Paul Rockey on Nov. 1, 1952, at Lynn. She graduated from Boston University with a bachelor's degree.

Survived by her husband; a son, Philip (Joanne) of Hartford, Conn.; two daughters, Lois J. Rockey of West Chester and Sue (Tom) Stickfort of Cedar Falls; a daughter-in-law, Patty (Paul) Tornaquindici of Portland, Conn.; 10 grandchildren, Benjamin, Matthew, Beth and Andrew Rockey, Heather (Joe) Brandt, Sarah and Rebekah Stickfort, Stephanie, Eric and Amy Tornaquindici; and three great-grandchildren, Mia Joy, Owen Joseph and Dylan Jeremiah Brandt.

Preceded in death by her parents; a son, Stephen; a great-grandson, Evan Brandt; and a brother, Arthur Lynds.

Services: 11 a.m. Thursday at the Cedar Falls Gospel Hall, with services and burial next week in Ardmore, Pa. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, and for an hour before services Thursday at the gospel hall.

Memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice or the family.
