EVANSDALE - Michael A. Bright, 61, of Evansdale, died Saturday, Jan. 21, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home, Waterloo, of cancer.

He was born July 15, 1950, in Milwaukee, Wis., son of Wilber and Angeline Lafler Bright. He married Carolyn Sarazen, and they later divorced. He married Denise "DeeDee" Simmons in 1993 in Fredericksburg.

Mr. Bright graduated from Mukwonago Union High School, Mukwonago, Wis. He worked more than 35 years in the dairy industry, most recently at ConAgra Dairy, Fredericksburg.

Survived by his wife; a daughter, Carrie (Jim) Scaff of Oconomowoc, Wis.; three sons, Justin (Stacie) Conrad, Jacob Simmons and Jonathen (Sarai Donoso) Simmons, all of Waterloo; eight grandchildren; seven brothers, Bob (Karen) of Oconomowoc, Burrill (Marie) of Alma, Ark., Dale (Arlene) of Brookville, Ind., Gary (Bev) of South Range, Wis., Greg (Lisa) of Princeton, Wis., Ron (Marilyn) of Columbus, Ohio, and Wayne of Cudahy, Wis.; and four sisters, Donna Bright of Monroe, Wis., Pat (Jim) Cronin of New Berlin, Wis., Sylvia Green of Sheboygan Falls, Wis., and Peggy (Eugene) Heintz of Ocala, Fla.

Preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Betty; and a brother, Wilber Jr.

Services: 11 a.m. Saturday at Faith Assembly of God Church, Elk Run Heights. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Locke Funeral Home, Waterloo.
